About The Event
What does it mean to be the Church? Today, we have so many models of what it means to be a healthy Church, to be a growing Church, to be an impactful Church. Yet at the base of it all, we know that the Church cannot be restricted to that which occurs for a few hours of worship each week. By definition, the Church, the ekklesia, is the gathering of God’s people. But the Church has more dimensions to it than can be found in the definition.
Taking our cues from Acts 2:42, the Church in Four Dimensions Sermon Series delves into what it means to be the Church in our community. Join us March 7 & 21, April 4 & 18 as Pastor Sheldon R. Bryan shares on the Church in its Four Dimensions. The Church is sold on the study of Scripture, united in service to a fallen world being reconciled to God, committed to the social well-being of its members, and energized by the Spirit to be salt and light. Follow us for this foundational series that brings clarity and conviction on what it means to be the Church in 2020.
